I don't know what came before, but I do remember being a student or something inside of a castle like building. There was a big wall/dam blocking a weird liquid that was nasty looking and anyone near the liquid would be snatched up and their flesh turned into the nasty color and melt into the liquid. Then after a foggy moment, I soem alarms were going off or warnings about imminent dam collapse. I was strangly searching for things - not sure what they were - but they "leveled me up" or something, made me stronger. Then I was walking down spiral stairs, the brick walls dark and dusty sort of. I remember this part very vividly compared to the rest, but the wall about halfway down caved in and I started melting and becoming a part of the goopy liquid... Out of nowhere I accessed some sort of game menu? And tried loading to a previous save or something. This didn't work, instead I turned into half melted slug sort of creature no matter how many times I tried to revert the save. I don't remember the rest or even if I was the same character, but lastly I remember sailing off the continent after it was fully engulfed in the liquid and trying to repopulate or something, and the liquid biomass starved and died. That's the most I can make of it, what would this happen to mean by chance?
Your dream is rich with vivid imagery and symbolism, reflecting your subconscious processing of thoughts, feelings, and situations in your waking life. Here is an interpretation of the themes and symbols in your dream:
Castle-like Building: This symbolizes a place of learning, growth, or a significant phase of your life, such as education or personal development. It might indicate a situation or period where you are acquiring knowledge or skills.
Weird Liquid: The nasty-looking liquid could represent negative emotions, stress, or a situation that you perceive as harmful or overwhelming. It's something that seems pervasive and potentially consuming if not controlled or addressed.
Flesh Turning and Melting: This transformation could indicate a fear of losing your identity or integrity when under stress or facing negativity. It might reflect concerns about how external pressures are affecting you personally.
Dam Collapse and Alarms: This signifies a fear of an impending crisis or the breakdown of a situation you can't control. It can also represent anxieties about failing to manage mounting pressures or emotions.
Leveling Up: Searching for items to "level up" implies a quest for self-improvement or the desire to gain tools or resources to handle life's challenges better. It could signify a striving for empowerment and resilience.
Spiral Stairs: Walking down spiral stairs can symbolize a journey into your subconscious or exploring unknown aspects of yourself. The darkness and dustiness suggest facing less visible or less comfortable facets of your psyche.
Caving Walls and Melting: The collapse of the wall and subsequent melting represents the fear of losing control or succumbing to pressures. It might also indicate a need for self-preservation in challenging situations.
Game Menu and Save Reversion: This symbolizes a desire to undo mistakes or rewind life to a more manageable state. However, since it doesn't work, it reflects feelings of being stuck or unable to change past decisions.
Half-Melted Slug Creature: Turning into an unusual creature represents a transformation that makes you feel alienated or different, possibly due to stress or feeling vulnerable.
Sailing Away: The act of sailing off the continent suggests a wish to escape or start anew, to leave behind troubles and find a fresh beginning. It highlights a hope for regeneration and finding balance again.
Liquid Biomass Starved and Died: This could symbolize the eventual overcoming of challenges or negative influences, suggesting that what seems overpowering might eventually fade or be overcome through endurance and change.
Overall, your dream seems to reflect a complex mixture of self-exploration, anxiety about change, and a strong will to become stronger in the face of perceived threats or challenges. It points to a resilience and a readiness to confront and move past what's troubling, albeit through unconventional and dream-like methods.
